Winter Wonderland in Edinburgh

SoHo IT Solutions is looking forward to a successful Winter season and has secured the IT support contract for Edinburgh's high profile Winter Wonderland.

This iconic event sees East Princes Street Gardens transformed into an ice skating rink, alongside a funfair and yuletide markets. The event runs from Thursday 27th November 2008 until Sunday 4th January 2009.

SoHo IT will be providing Remote and On-site assistance to ensure the communications infrastructure for the event runs smoothly.

The celebrations begin on Thursday 27th November at 5pm with the magical Night Light ceremony, the festive lights will be lit and attractions declared open to a back drop of spectacular fireworks.

Edinburgh's Christmas festivities continue with the opening of the ice rink on 28th November. This is fun for all the family set against the dramatic silhouette of Edinburgh Castle.

The German and Highland Village Christmas markets are a must see. These can be browsed whilst indulging in a traditional snack or mulled wine.
