Turn off that annoying Windows Update Notification

Like many people you may have switched off automatic Windows updates and run them manually once a month. OR you have them set to download and let you choose when to install them. - Are you fed up with that irritating reminder icon in your system tray next to the clock. Switch off this annoying message by following this simple procedure.

Turn off the notification icon in your taskbar...

1. Go to Control Panel
2. Open Security Centre
3. There is a list on the left under the title "Resources", click on the bottom one "Change the way Security Centre alerts me"
4. Uncheck "Automatic Updates" .

It's as simple as that!
